Ebay seller Any Volume recalls helmet

Summary: The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall by Any Volume of about 660 helmets sold on Ebay. The importer is contacting buyers to inform them of the recall.

CPSC has announced the recall of Any Volume helmets sold on Ebay for failure to comply with the CPSC bicycle helmet standard.

It is encouraging to see CPSC testing at least some of the many helmets sold on Ebay and perhaps other online retailers that have not been subject to recalls until now.

The helmets were size medium adult road bike helmets, in blue, green, pink, red, white and yellow. About 660 of the helmets were sold on Ebay from May 2020 through October 2020 for about $15. They were manufactured by Dongguan Rikcon Sports Technology Co., Ltd and Dongguan Wencan Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. of China and imported by West Lake International LLC., dba Any Volume, of Bridgeville, PA.
